David E. Parent

80, Brownsburg, formerly of Solon, OH, passed away in Heavenly peace on December 23, 2019. David was a loving husband of 51 years, father to three, father-in-love to three, and Papa/Gramps to eight. He loved his family, friends, and everyone put in his path selflessly. Survivors include his wife Carolyn Parent; children David (Alicia) Parent, Craig (Amy) Parent, and Lisa (Keith) Rossell; eight grandchildren: Ben, Jackson, Owen, Elliott, Lily, Meg, Craig, and Logan; brothers Donald (Cathy) Parent and Richard (Teresa) Parent; sisters Dolores Parsons, Judy (Mike deceased) Ribar, and Katie (Ken) Petruzzelli. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Mary Ann Parent; brother Lawrence (Cathy nee Nichols) Parent; and sisters Peggy (Dave deceased) White and Patsy (Bryant deceased) Matthews. David served in the US Army from 1962 to 1964. He then had a long career in sales culminated by many years as a realtor. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Brownsburg. Memorial services will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 575 W. Northfield Dr., Brownsburg, IN 46112, with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service.
