David Paul Dean

83, of Brownsburg, passed away the evening of September 2nd, 2026. David was born in Cleveland, Ohio to his parents Donald and Jeanne Dean on January 27th, 1943.

Following his early education at St. Christopher School and Cathedral High School, David went on to work in Information Technology for IBM for roughly 30 respected years. He then continued to work for Inland Container for another 10 years after his retirement. David was also a military veteran who was proud of his former service in the U.S. National Guard. He was a man of Catholic faith, attending St. Malachy Catholic Church for many years alongside his beloved wife, Ruth. David was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Dean. David is survived by his wife Ruth Dean; daughters Angie Cullin and Jennifer Dean; granddaughters Grace and Elyse Cullin; sister Kathleen Dean; and brother Robert Dean.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9th from 4 pm to 7 pm at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. A funeral mass will be held the following day, Thursday, September 10th at 10 am at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 9833 E County Rd 750 N, Brownsburg, IN 46112.
