David Glover Shelton
71, of Pittsboro, died June 13, 2014 at his home. He was born Dec. 26, 1942 in Indianapolis, IN the son of Glover and Eileen Shelton. David graduated from Ben Davis High School and worked as a millwright for ADM Milling Company for over 30 years. He was the supervisor of the maintenance staff at both the downtown and Beech Grove flour mills. David enjoyed camping, working with his hands, and playing with his kids and grandkids. He was an active member of Kingsway Christian Church serving as one of the founding members since 1973. He is survived by his wife Trish of Pittsboro, sisters; Linda (Charles) Baker, Alida (Alan) Herron, and Annie (Ronald) Bogardus all of North Salem, sons; Scott (Al Russell) Shelton of Indianapolis, Matt (Monica) Shelton of Avon, and Daniel (Emily) Shelton of Springfield, IL, and daughter Beth (Brian) Moore of Fowler, IN, and six grandchildren: Mariah, Mark, Ben, Brandon, Audrey, and Isla. A visitation is scheduled at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg from 4-7pm on Mon., June 16. A memorial service will be held at Kingsway Christian Church in Avon on Tues., June 17 at 10am with John Noel officiating. Memorials may be made to Kingsway Christian School.
