Deann M. Fruits Thomas, 79, Brownsburg, passed away March 11, 2017. She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, Zionsville. She was also a member and past president of the Indianapolis and Indiana State Button Society, and a life-time member of the National Button Society. She and her husband Paul W. "Pete" Thomas, who preceded her in death were the owners of Good Lawn & Garden. Survivors include children Paula (Bob) Overman, Danny (Violet) Thomas, Anna (William) Webb and Paul Edward Thomas; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be from noon to 2pm Wed. March 15 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 2pm. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
