Deborah L. Woods Dalton Shaw

71, Brownsburg, passed away on April 11, 2023.  She was a member of Speedway Christian Church, Brownsburg American Legion Auxiliary and the IU Alumni Association. Deborah graduated from IU with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She worked as a dental hygienist at various locations on the west side of Indianapolis for many years. She enjoyed traveling to Casinos with her husband and saw much of the US on her travels. Deborah cherished spending time with her blended family and was known as the organizer of family events.  She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Elise Woods.  Survivors include her husband, Michael Shaw; children Ron (Jodi) Dalton, Melinda Deer; stepchildren Michael Todd (Shannon) Shaw, Jenifer Moran, Jerod (Kile) Shaw; sister Lynette (Steve) Helton; grandchildren Grayson and Rylan Dalton, Eric and Evan Deer, Jackson, Sydney, and Avery Shaw, and Madison Moran.  Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm Wed. Apr. 19th at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 12 pm.  Burial will be immediately following in West Ridge Park Cemetery. A funeral dinner and celebration of life will occur at 2:30pm at the Brownsburg American Legion.
