Denise Lynne (VanBuskirk) Waymire
53, from Brownsburg, Indiana, passed away on November 25th 2013 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was a resident of Dandridge, Tennessee and was born January 2, 1960 in Lebanon, Indiana. She is survived by her husband Jeff Waymire whom she married on June 12, 2004. She is also survived by her son Keith Sisk (Kiffany), her daughter Lauren Sisk, stepson Aaron Poland, stepdaughter Celia Waymire, granddaughters Kyla Sisk, Kaydra Evans and Kyndal Sisk, brother Craig VanBuskirk (Jane), parents Larry and Nancy VanBuskirk, and parents-in-law Glen and Virginia Waymire. She loved to quilt and was a professional quilter for twelve years in East Tennessee. She was also active in quilt guilds and even started and ran her own business called Calico Cottage Quilting. She will be missed by both family and friends for all the many ways she enriched their lives and for the laughter she brought.
Visitation will be 11am-1pm Mon. Dec. 2 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1pm. Denise will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memory Gardens Cemetery, Whitestown, Indiana. There will also be a memorial service at First Baptist Church, Dandridge, Tennessee on Friday December 6, 2013 to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions in her name to the American Cancer Society.
