Dennis "Mouse" G. Brumett

76, Brownsburg, passed away on September 16, 2024. He was an Air Force veteran serving as a firefighter from 1965 to 1969. Dennis was a fireman for Speedway Fire Department before becoming a truck driver for over 35 years. He was a member of the Speedway American Legion Post 500 as well as the VFW Post 98. He loved watching IU basketball, NASCAR, and having family and friends at his tiki hut. Dennis was preceded in death by daughters Sheri Brumett, Christy Jackson; parents Luther and Lucille Brumett; brother David Brumett; sister Carol Brumett. Survivors include his wife Pamela Brumett; sons Samuel David (Sherrill) Brumett, Dustin (Sheila) Phillips, Todd Phillips; sisters Kay Probst, Mary Beth Berry; brother Mark Brumett; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm Sat. Sept. 21 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 12pm. Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery.
