Diana "Dawn" D. Fulkerson
Diana "Dawn" D. Fulkerson, 78, of Brownsburg, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2024. Dawn was the heart and soul of her family, a true matriarch whose warmth, wisdom, and boundless love brought everyone together. A spirited woman who embraced life fully, she found joy in traveling, socializing, and creating—whether through her crafts, her cooking, or the cherished memories made with her family and beloved dogs. Dawn lived with passion and purpose, always seeking connection, and celebrating the little things. A loyal friend and a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she spent many years working as a technician for Western Electric and Raytheon, but her greatest legacy is the deep, lasting relationships she nurtured throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stephen Fulkerson, and her parents, Rayburn and Viola Fitch. Dawn is survived by her children Carl (Andrea) Vaught, Carla Vaught, and Matthew (Stephanie) Fulkerson; her sister, Rae Jean Parson; her grandchildren Chelsea (Jacob) Meadows, Stephanie (Eric) Oteham, Brad (Jody) Carr, and Diana Fulkerson; and her great-grandchildren Lincoln Meadows, Mattis Meadows, Maggie Oteham, Easton Carr, and Quenton Carr.
Dawn's legacy is one of love, loyalty, and laughter. She touched the lives of many with her generous heart, sharp wit, and genuine kindness. Her presence will be missed but forever cherished by all who knew her. Services will be private.
