Don (Dick) R. Wentz

83, Brownsburg, passed away on November 2, 2023.  He was a US Navy veteran serving from 1958-1962.  Don was a member of Connection Pointe Christian Church and had been a coach for Brownsburg Little League Baseball and Football.  He retired in 1992 from General Motors Allison as a general superintendent after 32 years. After retirement, Don worked for Quail Creek Golf Course where he loved to play golf and was a school bus driver for Brownsburg Community School Corporation.  He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Helen Wentz; son Mark Wentz; brother James Wentz; sister Marlene Diemer.  Survivors include his wife Ruth Ann Wentz; children Beth Wentz, Scott (Lou) Wentz, Darrin Wentz, Darryl (LeeAnn) Wentz; sisters Susan (Logan) Ross, Jean (Dan) Kaser; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm Thurs. Nov. 9 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services at 10 am Fri. Nov. 10.  Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
