Donald Earl Bragg was born on October 13, 1941 to Freda Brunes Bragg and John Bragg. Sadly, his mother passed away within a few days of his birth. Don was raised by a cousin for the first few years of his life and then by his maternal grandparents. He always had a love of animals and had many pets growing up. Don played basketball for Brownsburg High School and would later become an officiate for basketball games. In 1960 he married Judy Turpin and went on to have two children, Sheri (Bragg) Schonfeld and Robert Bragg. Don worked at farming for a number of years as well as working in the insurance industry. He developed a special love of horses and became involved in boarding and rehabilitating them. He opened Bragg's Saddle Feed-Tack Shop in Avon with Linda Dillon and they eventually moved the shop to Danville where they ran a successful business for many years. Don passed away suddenly on December 3, 2021. He is survived by Judy Bragg, his two children and son in law, and two grandchildren as well as several close friends and associates. There will be no calling. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Traders Point.
