Donald R. Heacox Sr., a ge 83, Brownsburg, passed away April 15, 2014. He had been a State Farm Agent for 39 years, retiring in 2000. He was a US Marine Corp veteran. He was a member of Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Avon, Brownsburg Lions Club, and had served on the Brownsburg Board of Zoning Appeals. Survivors include his wife Betty Heacox; children Cathryn Loe, Linda M. Heacox, Libby A. Heacox, and Donald R. Heacox Jr.; brothers Jack Heacox, Tom Heacox, and Larry Heacox; sister Mary Lue Smallwood; grandchildren Courtney, Elizabeth, Abigail, Jacob, and Ruth; great grandchildren Lucia, Caleb, Margaret, and Miles. Funeral services will be 12 noon Tues. April 22 at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Avon, with visitation there from 10am to noon. Burial will follow in Brownsburg Cemetery.
