Donald Gray Higgins

Don Higgins, 93, of Brownsburg, passed away peacefully at home on April 9, 2025.  He was a long-standing member of Liberty Baptist Church and came to know the Lord while attending the Indianapolis Baptist Temple. Don retired as a machinist from Switzer Corp. and later returned to the workforce, where he enjoyed many years at Precision Cryogenics.  He was preceded in death by his first wife of 44 years, Juanita Higgins; his second wife of 21 years, Audrey Higgins; and his parents, Elmond and Imogene Higgins.  He is survived by his children: Margaret (Larry) Edwards, Mike (Chris) Higgins, Donna Brown, and Greg (Jennifer) Higgins; eight grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, 10450 E. County Road 450 N, Indianapolis, IN 46234. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at West Ridge Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Children's Home in Tampa, FL, at www.hopechildrenshome.org
