Donald E. Hobson
76, Brownsburg, passed away Sept. 1, 2015. Don owned Hobson Engineering Inc. for over 30 years and had been an associate professor at Purdue University where he received his PhD in engineering. Don was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and was a Captain in the US Army. Don also participated in the Drexel University National Soccer Championship in 1958. Don is survived by his wife Sharon Hobson; children Michael Hobson, Susanna Hobson, Daniel Hobson, Elizabeth Hobson Kuehner, and stepson Paul Young; brother Tom Hobson; sister Valerie Hobson, and 8 grandchildren. Graveside services will begin at 11am Friday Sept. 4 at Sparks Cemetery, Pittsboro. Contributions can be made to Calvary United Methodist Church.
