Obituary

Donald L Martin was born in Tiffin, Ohio, September 11, 1932. He left this earth to join his beloved Patty on January 23, 2020.

Don grew up in and around Green Springs, Tiffin and Clyde Ohio. He served in the US Army during the Korean War; he was stationed in France as a coder. In the 1950's he started working with a couple of guys in Green Springs, Ohio laying pipe for natural gas, this would eventually become Miller Pipeline. He eventually moved to Indiana and worked out of the Clermont office until his retirement as a Superintendent for the company. This is also where he met his wife of 38 years the late Patricia Martin. Don prided himself on hard work and giving his family a home where they could enjoy themselves. Like a lot of people out of the depression he loved giving his kids the things he never had. There is a poem called the Dash, Dads dash was full. He had been to 48 states, England, France, Spain and Canada. He will miss the neighbor lady.

Don is survived by his children Heather (Bob) Barnette of Arcadia, IN, David (Rebecca) Martin of Greenwood, IN, Kim (Jeff) Seals of Brownsburg, IN, Bob (Angela) Brown of Pittsboro, IN, David Brown of Lafayette, IN, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

As we say goodbye to our dear old dad and even though it makes our heart feel sad; I know that he is finally at rest, with his beloved Patty whom he loved the best. Feel free to drink to that.

There will be no services at this time. A private graveside service will be held later. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to In-Kind Donations Children's Bureau, Inc., 1575 Dr. MLK Jr St. Indianapolis, IN
