Elder Donald R. McWilliams, age 79, Brownsburg, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 26, 2012. Don was born August 7, 1933 to Uhl and Estel McWilliams, both whom preceded him in death. He was a lifelong resident of Hendricks County. He was ordained as a Minister in 1975 serving churches in both Indiana and Illinois. He also retired from Eli Lilly and Company in 1991 after 33 of employment. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1954-1956 and a member of the Pittsboro Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife Darlene Kaiser McWilliams; daughters Beckie (Tony) Johnson, Donna (Phil) Johns; 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; sister Thelma Johnston; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brother Carl McWilliams. Visitation will be 10-Noon Tuesday, Oct 30 with funeral services following at Noon at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. Burial will be immediately after the service at Sparks Cemetery, Pittsboro, IN. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, Mt. Tabor Primitive Baptist Church or Concord Primitive Baptist Church.
