Donald E. Mitchell 84, Indianapolis, passed away April 8, 2011. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, had been a farmer and worked at General Motors. He was a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by wife Sheila Mitchell, parents Lyman and Mabel Mitchell, brothers Wayne, Larry, and Loren Ray Mitchell. Survivors include wife Marjorie Mitchell; daughter Deana Southwell, stepchildren Sherry Nolan, Diane Ward, Michael White, and Kim Eakle; sisters Audrey Settles and Wilma Anderson; brothers Kenneth Mitchell, Melvin Mitchell and Clyde Mitchell; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2pm Wed. April 13 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation there from noon to 2pm. Burial will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens Cemetery.
