Dorothy Mae Brower, 87, died June 21, 2016. She was born to Bertha and James Lawrence in Muncie, IN, on January 1, 1929. She was the first child born in Delaware County, Indiana, that year. She is survived by her brother, Wallace Lawrence of Zephyrhills, FL; three children, Clella (Mike) Alberts, Robert (Sherida) Brower, and Pamela (Frank) Haines; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Brower, parents, and seven brothers and sisters. She lived in Muncie, Logansport, IN; Louisville, OH; Ocala, FL; and more recently near her extended family in Hendricks County. Dorothy was devoted to her family and will be greatly missed by so many. Private arrangements have been made through Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg. She will be laid to her much deserved rest beside her husband in Beech Grove Cemetery, Muncie.
