Dorothy M. Hessel, 92, Brownsburg, passed away Oct. 2, 2016. She worked as a secretary for the State of Indiana for 28 years. She was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church. Her husband, Charles, preceded her in death in 1990. She is survived by two daughters, Charlene Parrish, Lizton, and Kathleen (James) Linkhart, Cincinnati; grandchildren Jason (Kim) Linkhart and Kim (Douglas) Whitten; 4 great granddaughters. Graveside services will be at 11 am Sat. Oct. 8 at Holy Cross Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MI. Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Malachy Church, 9833 E. CR 750N, Brownsburg, IN 46112.
