87, Brownsburg, passed away Oct. 5, 2013. She had been a communications technician for AT&T for 31 years and a member of the Brownsburg Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Short. She is survived by her daughter Billie (Tom) Parrish and son Neil Short; step daughter Beth Summers; brother Michael Dearinger; and grandsons Christopher and Mike Parrish. Visitation will be 3 pm to 7 pm on Thurs. Oct. 10, 2013 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg with funeral services at 10 am on Fri. Oct 11, 2013 at Brownsburg Church of Christ, 2100 S. Hornaday Rd. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
