Doug Linn
66, Indianapolis, passed away July 13, 2024, at home surrounded by his family.  Doug had been a driver for Superior Oil for 27 years, retiring in 2019.  He was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church, Brownsburg.  He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Linn, brother Jeff Linn and stepmother Juanita Linn.  Doug is survived by his wife Shelly Linn; father Neil Linn; children Shannon Whitehorn, Audry Messersmith and Nathan VanSlyke; brothers Bob Linn, Keith Denton, and Steve Denton; sisters Laura Linn, Teresa McDonough and Denise Johnson; grandchildren Madison Whitehorn, Olivia Whitehorn and Ashton Messersmith.  Visitation will be from 10am to 12 noon Thursday July 18 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services at 12pm.  Burial will follow in Lincoln Memory Gardens Cemetery, Whitestown.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cornerstone Christian Church Food Pantry, 8930 N.
