Douglas John Sipes

61, Pittsboro, passed away February 7, 2022.  He had been a mechanic for UPS for 22 years and was a US Air Force veteran.  He was also a member of the Brownsburg American Legion.  He enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle, NASCAR, football and camping.  He also had a great love for the ocean.  His parents Richard and Dorothy Sipes preceded him in death.  Survivors include his wife Brenda Sipes; son Joshua Sipes; brother-in-law Chris Hartsburg (wife Denise); sister-in-law Patricia Schultz; nieces Erin Moisan, Maria Moisan, Nicole Hartsburg, Hannah Hartsburg; great nieces Paisley Brown and Kyleigh Brown; great nephew Brantley Linscott.  Visitation will be from 4-6pm Thursday February 17 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral service at 6pm.
