Dwight W. Hendershot
78, Brownsburg, passed away on December 27, 2018.
He taught electronics at ITT Tech and Area 30 Education in Greencastle for over 36 years. He was a member of Pittsboro Baptist Church, Carvers Club in Danville and Rock Steady Boxing in Brownsburg. He was preceded in death by his parents Lincoln and Hazel Hendershot and sister Norma Litten. Survivors include his wife Eldonna Hendershot; daughter Pam (Eric) Lyon; son Dwain (Corrine) Hendershot; brother Leonard Hendershot of Spencer, IN; grandchildren Joseph (Alivia) Lyon, Curtis Lyon and Jackson Hendershot. Visitation will be from 1:30-4 pm Sun. Dec. 30 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there 10am Mon. Dec. 31. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rock Steady Boxing, 1531 E. Northfield Drive, Suite 800, Brownsburg, IN 46112. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
