Obituary

Elbert Edwards Enochs
87, Indianapolis, passed away March 16, 2011. He was a decorated WWII Veteran. He started and owned Westwood Coach Mfg., Elkhart, IN and was one of the inventors of the design of pick-up campers in the rear of pick-up trucks. Mr. Enochs was one of a very few that held patents on pick-up campers and travel trailers. Later in life he established Life Guard Industries which specialized in new and existing home replacement windows, retiring in 2006. He was a certified minister of the Gospel and a member of New Life Christian Church. His memberships included American Legion and Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include wife Bernice Enochs; son Edward C. (Diana) Enochs; grandchildren Ann Marie Enochs, Jennifer Ellen Enochs, Shawna Hargis, and Danielle Enochs; 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12pm Sat. March 19 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation from 10am until time of service. Burial will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens Cemetery.
