Elizabeth Burns
Age 88, Brownsburg, passed away March 8, 2013. She was born August 21, 1924 in Georgetown, KY to Smith and Iva Karsner. She had been a registered nurse for Hendricks Regional Health Hospital for 20 years. She attended Cornerstone Christian Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, and St. Vincent Alumni Association. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond (Bud) Burns. Survivors include daughters Marlene (Scott) Roellchen and Marianne (Bruce) Hofferth; grandchildren Matthew (Kelsey) Hofferth, Sarah (Scott) Ross, Micah (Ingrid) Hofferth, and Josh (Meg) Mitchell; and great granddaughter Olivia Mitchell. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm on Mon. March 11, 2013 in Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg with funeral services there at 1 pm. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery.
