Elizabeth J. Schachte
75, Brownsburg, passed away January 4, 2022. She had retired as an administrative assistant from Eli Lilly & Co. Elanco Division after 40 years. She was a member of St. Malachy Church and an avid reader. Survivors include her husband Steven Schachte; sons Matt Schachte (wife Valarie) and Mark Schachte; brothers James York, Stephen York, Victor York, Joe York, Michael York and Timmy York; sisters Rita Johnson, Madonna Gillum, Martha Reynolds, Mary Davis, Teresa Fobes and Kay Bradley; brother-in-law Harry Joe Schachte; sister-in-law Cindy Campbell. A memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday January 29 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with memorial gathering from 10am to 11am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org
