Ellen Louise VanSingel
age 92, Indianapolis, formerly of Granville, MI, passed away Jan. 17, 2012. A graduate of Mary Manse College, she had been supervisor of experimental metallurgy for GM Diesel Equipment Division, Grand Rapids for 30 years, retiring in 1983. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. VanSingel. Survivors include sisters Rita Cross, Loretta Bocast, and Josephine Kritzell; sister-in-law Dorothy VanderLaan; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11am Mon. Jan. 23 at St. Malachy Church, Brownsburg, with visitation at the church from 10am. Committal services will be 10:30am Wed. Jan. 25 at Resurrection Cemetery, Wyoming, MI.
