Elva Lurena Cochran Lowry
74, Brownsburg, was born Aug. 13, 1936 and passed away May 15, 2011. She was raised in Fish Lake, Indiana by her parents Esther M. and Harry O. Cochran, and graduated from Mill Creek High School. Later, she married Dean Lowry of Tyner, IN, who survives. They were married for more than 56 years and together they raised three daughters, all surviving: Jennifer Sue Moore of Lebanon, Melissa Ann Davidson of Brownsburg, and Heidi Lynn Lowry of Avon. Elva has three grandchildren: Laurena Teal Moore of Lebanon, Elivia Lynn Lowry and Cole Stuart Davidson both of Brownsburg. A sister Irma Gibson of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, survives. She was preceded in death by brother Harvey Cochran and sisters Harriet Johnson and Ruth Cox. Funeral services will be 2pm Tues. May 17 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation there from noon until 2pm. Burial will be at Brownsburg Cemetery.
