Erin E.
Webb
December 22, 1977 – December 2, 2024
Erin Elizabeth Webb
46, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on December 2, 2024, after a battle with cancer, fought as she lived her life, vigorously and courageously. Erin was born to Albert Marshall and Paula (Hardesty) Marshall, on December 22, 1977. She was a 1996 graduate of Brownsburg High School, exceling in swimming and earning the recognition of Academic All-American. She attended Indiana University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in biology and anthropology. Following graduation, Erin worked as a food scientist with Red Gold Foods and Heartland Foods. To fulfil her dream of teaching, she returned to school to complete a master's degree in education from Marian University. In 2019, Erin began teaching middle school science at Indianapolis Public Schools' Center for Inquiry School 84. She loved teaching science and watching the 'aha' moments light up her students' faces when they grasped a new scientific concept.
Growing up, she was often affectionately referred to by her doting father as the "bright spot", as her fair complexion and pale blonde curls made her easy to spot in a crowd. Her gentle spirit, kind eyes, big heart, and whimsical sense of humor touched all who were lucky enough to know her. Together with her partner in life, Eric, she enjoyed hiking, camping, kayaking, cheering on the Indianapolis Colts and IU athletics, and spending time with family, friends, and her fur children, Ernie J. and Bertie.
She is survived by her fiancé Eric Arbogast; father Albert (Jennifer); half-brother Nathaniel, stepbrother Brandon; and stepson Ethan. She was preceded in death by her mother, Paula Marshall.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sun, Feb 16th from 3-5pm at the Browny event center, 25 S. Green St., Brownsburg. All who knew her are welcome.
