Esther T. Downey 89, Brownsburg, passed away Jan. 1, 2011. She had worked in food service for Brownsburg Community Schools 15 years, retiring in 1987. She was preceded in death by husband John W. Downey. Survivors include children Kevin (Linda) Downey, Keith (Mary) Downey, and Karla (Gary) Brown; grandchildren John Downey, Cody Downey, Justin Brown, Kyle Brown, Christopher Downey, and Samantha Downey. Funeral services will be 10am Wed. Jan. 5 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation there from 4-8pm Tues. Jan. 4. Burial will be at Brownsburg Cemetery.
