Evelyn Maxine Shaughnessy, 81, Pittsboro, passed away May 13, 2015. She had been an administrative assistant at Union Carbide, retiring in 1996 and was a member of Connection Pointe Christian Church. Survivors include her husband G. Larry Shaughnessy; son Tim (Melanie) Shaughnessy; granddaughter Molly Shaughnessy; brother Robert (Linda) Nelson; sister Betty (Robert) Perkins; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10am to 12 noon Mon. May 18 at Connection Pointe Christian Church with funeral services there at 12 noon. Committal services will be at 2pm at Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation at www.komenindy.org
