Fern M. Hawkins 92, died February 5, 2013 in The Woodlands, TX. She was born in Clay City, Indiana on January 22, 1921 to Levi and Nancy Sinders. She lived in Fountain Square, Indianapolis, IN until moving to TX. She was a dedicated worker for the State of Indiana, State Highway Department. She is survived by her children, Don Hawkins of Indianapolis, Judy Williams of Spring, TX, Nona Reecer of Brownsburg; 2 granddaughters, Sheila Little of Houston, TX and Lisa Reecer of Brownsburg; 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Preceding her in death is parents; husband, Earl Hawkins and 12 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 11 at Matthews Mortuary, 690 E 56th Street, Brownsburg, with Pastor Bill Goodrich officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
