Charlene Harris, age 86 of Brownsburg, passed away August 6, 2016. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Brownsburg and the Red Hat Society. She retired from Allison in 1994 after 20 years. She was an energetic lady who enjoyed many hobbies. She was an artist, cake decorator, avid gardener and tutored in the Brownsburg School Corporation. Her husband William Kenneth Harris preceded her in death. Survivors include children Jackie (James) Parrish, Nancy (Bill) Potts, Richard Harris, and Julie Harris; brother William McCartin; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10am to 12 noon Wed. Aug. 10 at Messiah Lutheran Church, with funeral services there at 12 noon. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
