Gary J. Cornett

61, of Brownsburg, passed away peacefully on May 9th, 2026. Gary was born in Danville to his parents James and Betty (Garner) Cornett on October 29th, 1964. After high school, he went on to earn his Associate’s degree. Gary then led a dedicated career as a CAD Engineer for Firestone for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Gary is survived by his siblings Donald (Donna) Cornett and Nancy Henke; nieces Kelly Clark, Sherry Miller, and Jennifer Stewart; nephews Brian Snider and Jason Snider.

Family and friends will celebrate Gary’s life privately with a graveside service at Brownsburg Cemetery.
