Obituary

Gary G. Hill
75, Brownsburg, passed away on June 18, 2020. He was a member of Traders Point Christian Church. He worked for Indiana University in computer services with the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine for 25 years after which he toured the USA working for various trucking lines. In 2006, he parked his truck and collected his pen, ledgers and calculator to help with the books at his family owned restaurants, Dawson's on Main and Dawson's Too. Gary had many loves, including cheering on his beloved Hawkeyes and Braves and fishing at Nelson's Resort. But first and foremost was his love of God and love for his family. He got so much enjoyment from attending all of his kids' and grandkids' events. One could see him at games and musical events in Brownsburg, Tri West, Noblesville, Iowa and IU where he was the first to arrive and one of the loudest cheerleaders. His support was unending. He was also a member and past master of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife Susan Hill, daughter Barb (Mark) Lesko; sons Tony (Kris) Hill, Chris (Diane) Hill; sister Marlene Beckley; grandchildren Shelby (Chris), Sydney (Brian), Madison, Delaney, Jake, Eagan, Dawson, Jaden, Keldon and great granddaughter Eleanor. A private memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd with a celebration of life to be announced for a future date. Memorial contributions can be made to Life's Journey of Avon.
