Gene Ayers, 70, Brownsburg, passed away August 7, 2017. He had been an inventory manager At Eli Lilly & Co. and was a member of St. Malachy Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Meredith and Rita Ayers, brother James Ayers and niece Emily Ayers. Survivors include his wife Joy Ayers; sons Jarrod Ayers, Josh (Lindsey) Ayers, and Justin (Carrie) Ayers; grandchildren Jarrod, Baleigh, Ava, Brayden, Jianna and Jenevie; nephew Andrew Ayers. Visitation will be from 10am to 12 noon Sat. Aug. 12 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 12 noon. Burial will be in St. Malachy Cemetery, Brownsburg.
