Gene N. Ennis
Age 88, Mathis, TX, formerly of Jamestown, IN and Brownsburg, IN, passed away September 9, 2025, in Mathis TX.  Gene owned and operated bowling alleys for 50 years, before retiring.  He was a US Army veteran, serving in the Airborne Battle Group 501st Infantry from 1956-58.  He was preceded in death by his parents Marion and Mary Ennis, daughter Debra Gaffney, and friend Inez Barfield.  He is survived by grandsons Zachary Gaffney and Dustin Gaffney.  Graveside services will be 11am Monday September 22 at Brownsburg Cemetery.
