Gene Ploughe
81, Brownsburg, passed away Oct. 24, 2018. He had been a real estate broker and commercial developer in Brownsburg for over 50 years. He was a member of the Brownsburg Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Brownsburg Christian Church and a charter member of Brownsburg Kiwanis. He was a former member of the Hendricks County Hospital Board, Hendricks County Fair Board, Hendricks County Council and St. Malachy Board of Total Education. He was preceded in death by his parents Nola and Geraldine Ploughe and brother Phil Ploughe. Survivors include his wife Theresa Wynne Ploughe; children Shannon (Brian) Guinn, A.J. (Katy) Ploughe and Pat Ploughe; brother Keith Ploughe, Julia Ploughe; sister Bonnie Cooksey; grandchildren Lauren Davis, Brendan Ploughe, Cara Ploughe, Kate Ploughe, Brittany Simmons and Kirsten Simmons. Visitation will be from 2-6pm Sunday Oct. 28 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 10am Monday Oct. 29. Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens Cemetery.
