George O. Blair Sr.
age 94, Danville, passed away April 2, 2012. He had been a test and service mechanic at GM Allison, retiring in 1977. He was a 60 year member and past master of Pittsboro Masonic Lodge. His wife Leona Blair and son George Blair Jr. preceded him in death. Survivors include companion Joan Teboe; daughters Ruth Wethington, Laura Tudor, and Janet Carlton; daughter-in-law Dorothy Blair; brother David Blair; sisters Violet Magoun and Grace Walker; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Fri. April 6 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 10am Sat. April 7. Entombment will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens.
