George H. Mayo

91, of Brownsburg, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026.  George was a graduate of the General Motors Institute.  He was an engineer for GM Allison for over 34 years retiring in 1990.  George was preceded in death by his daughter Kathryn Mayo; son Robert Mayo; parents George and Vivian Mayo.  Survivors include his loving wife Sharon Mayo; children Karen Lee Mayo, Scott (Gabrielle) Mayo, Tami (Bud) Schultz; sister Judy Nevieau; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  Services will be held at a later date.
