George L. Reading
77, Avon, passed away March 11, 2024.  George was a US Air Force veteran, serving from 1966-69, serving with the 6200 Civil Engineer Squadron PACAF.  He had a career and worked in management for various freight companies before retiring.  He loved to travel and paint.  George was quick-whitted and could tell a "dad" joke like no one else.  He tried to live his life by the saying "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."  He is survived by his daughter Melissa Grimes (husband Brett); grandchildren Ella Richards and Sienna Grimes; sister-in-law Alice Reading; cousin Kathleen Hatch; and beloved dog Paisley.  Services will be private.
