89, Pittsboro, passed away Jan. 1, 2017. He had been a welder at GM Allison, retiring in 1985. He was a US Air Force veteran and a long-time member and past deacon of the White Lick Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Poole. Survivors include children Carmen (Nancy) Wethington and Donald (Denise) Wethington; brother Norbert Poole; granddaughter Emily Wethington. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Thurs. Jan. 5 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there 10am Fri. Jan. 6. Burial will be in White Lick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the White Lick Presbyterian Church, 2530 N. CR 600E, Avon, IN 46123.
