Gil M. Squiller

75, Avon, passed away on December 13, 2022.  He was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church in Plainfield, IN.  Gil was a US Army Reserve veteran and a member of the Avon American Legion Post 1045.  He was a graduate of Butler University but his heart was at Purdue.  He was a Pharmacist for 23 years at Hook's Drugs in Logansport, IN and established the Community Pharmacy in Logansport Memorial Hospital.  He later went on to work as a pharmacist at Hendricks Regional Health, Kindred Hospital and OrthoIndy Main Hospital.  Gil was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Mary Squiller.  Survivors include his wife Susan Squiller; daughter Sara (Timothy) Whitsell; son Adam (Shannon) Squiller; sisters Pamela J. (Wade) Klein, Marianne Squiller; grandchildren Luke Whitsell, Vaiden Squiller, Katherine Squiller, Leah Whitsell; nieces Christi Klein, Colleen Snyder, Berni Bland; nephews Charlie Kreitler and Paul Kreitler.  Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm Mon. Dec. 19 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg.  Funeral services will be at 11 am Tues. Dec. 20 at St. Susanna Catholic Church, 1210 E. Main St., Plainfield, IN 46168.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Susanna Catholic School, 1212 E. Main St., Plainfield, IN 46168.
