His surviving family includes his wife Lois Mae Lewis of 37 years, brother Dean Lewis, son Mark Alan Lewis and daughter in law Stacy Lewis and four granddaughters Sydney, Josalyn, Gabriella and Ally Lewis of North Salem, Indiana. Glenn was born in DesMoines, Iowa June 11, 1935 to the parents of Ethel Marie Elliott and Glenn T. Lewis. He attended Roseville High School and continued his education in electrical engineering. Glenn enjoyed traveling during his 30 year career with Electrical Materials Company at Fort Dodge. When he retired from his sales position, he became an entrepreneur in public transportation in Denison, Iowa. In 2003, Glenn chased his new passion to a little blonde hair girl with blue eyes in Chicago, Illinois. Sydney was the beginning of a new era for him as he started his adventure as "Grandpa." He really enjoyed walking his granddaughters to the park, playing on the swings or just taking a nap after a long day. While balancing a full duty as Grandpa, Glenn continued to work part time at Sam's Club in the Chicago area and again when he relocated to the Indianapolis, IN area. In 2007, the family relocated West of Indianapolis where Glenn and Lois began to build many new friendships as their granddaughters began school in the Tri-West school district and they joined Mt Tabor Baptist Church in Fayette. Glenn was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather who loved the Lord. Family and friends should gather to pay their respects at Mt Tabor Baptist Church December 22nd from 5-8 pm. Funeral services will be there on December 23rd at 11 am. Glenn will be laid to rest in the K of P Cemetery in Lizton, Indiana and celebrate his faith in heaven.
