Gloria Rutherford Partlow
Brownsburg, passed away on January 20, 2022. She worked for the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Carmel. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Carl R. Partlow and parents Fred (Poppy) and Nellie (Mimi) Forey. Survivors include: her loving sons David (Linda) Rutherford and Dan (Nicole) Rutherford; dear sister to Veta (Luke) Vanderpool and Art "Sonny" (Nancy) Baumann; devoted grandmother of Lindsey, Tracy, Nick, Justin, Christopher, Lucas, Brooke, Jamie, Bridget, Jenna and their significant others; loving great-grandmother to Jackson, Hannah, Lily, Kinsley, Tessa, Harlow, Luke, Shiloh, Malachi, Mathias, Roman, Brycen, Gage, Lux, Piper and Micah; loved aunt of Sandy, Rick, Sally, Michael, Bobby and their respective spouses.
Gloria lived for her family and her favorite thing to do was spend time with them. She was so proud of her sons David and Dan and all of their successes. She adored all of her grandchildren, but her granddaughters Tracy and Lindsey were more like daughters to her and held a special place in her heart. Gloria had a special bond with her daughter-in-law Nicole and enjoyed a loving friendship with her. Nicole considered Gloria her second mom. Gloria also loved her "baby" Daphne, her devoted pet dog. She loved all animals – except birds. She loved to laugh and according to her sons, did a lot of it. She also loved ballroom dancing and even competing. When music would come on, she was up and moving to the beat. She also enjoyed many great times on vacations with David and Dan, creating many wonderful moments. Gloria will forever be in our hearts and memories.
