Gordon Louis Hayward, 85, of Brownsburg, Indiana, passed away on March 22, 2025, St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis Indiana.  He was born on August 31, 1939, Indianapolis, Indiana.  Gordon was the beloved child of Gordon Bachlor Hayward and Virginia Ann Abrams.

Gordon attended Howe High School and pursued a career in real estate, dedicating his career with the F.C Tucker Company.  He enjoyed watching sports, played high school baseball, and with musical youth talent sang, with his two brothers in the Christ Cathedral Choir. Gordon joined the United States Marine Corps in 1957.

Gordon is survived by his wife Loreto Hayward, and 1st wife and mother of his children, Marilyn Kay Hayward.  He is also survived by his two brothers, Steven and John Hayward and his four children: Gordon Scott, Richard Edward, Donald Andrew, and Rebecca Ann Hayward. He was blessed with eight grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  Gordon was preceded in death by his father Gordon Bachelor Hayward and his mother Virginia Ann (Abrams) Hayward.

Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm Friday March 28 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, followed by graveside services at 2pm at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers, please give to the charity of your choice in honor of Gordon Hayward.
