Gordon L. Mondry

85, North Salem, passed away on August 1, 2025.  Gordon was an Air Force veteran serving from 1957 to 1961.  He worked for GC Murphy for 25 years and ended his career working for several years with IU Health, handling their home health products. Gordon enjoyed playing Euchre with friends and spending time around a fire. He coached several Little League teams over the years and volunteered while using his love for grilling, to support Little League and the Tri-West Band program. After his retirement he spent much of his time at Dogwood Springs Campground camping and fishing until his health would no longer allow. Although not an active member of a local church Gordon faithfully watched Les Feldick and attended Bible study at The Harrison. He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Lucille Mondry.  Survivors include his children Nicholas (Marli) Mondry, Natalie Mondry, Gordon (Carolyn) Mondry Jr., Dena (Todd) Ramsey, Vanessa Mondry; sisters Sherry Mondry, Carol (David) Mondry-Rawlins; grandchildren Stewart Mondry, Stormie Lee, Aubrey Mondry; several friends at Dogwood Springs Campground.  Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Fri. Aug. 8 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Bethesda Christian Schools Softball.
