Harriett "Jo" Gross (Fitzpatrick), of Brownsburg, went home to Jesus on 1/21/2023 at age 82. Jo was born on 6/21/1940 in Jackson, Michigan. She was adopted by Harry and Vira Fitzpatrick soon after. As a child, she loved to roller skate, play saxophone, and read. Jo spent much of her life raising her 9 children, and countless neighborhood kids. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Jo also loved her Special Education career of 23 years with Indianapolis Public Schools. Throughout her entire life, Jo held an unwavering Catholic faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. Jo joins her parents, Harry and Vira Fitzpatrick; sons Jimmie, Jeff, and Chris Fletcher; and husband Barton Gross in Heaven. She is survived by her children John (Christina) Fletcher, Jason (Christina) Fletcher, Josh (Andrea) Fletcher, Andrew McDaniels, Mollee McDaniels, and Bridgett (Laura) McDaniels-Russell; 22 Grandchildren, 15 GreatGrandchildren, and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. 'He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away' - Revelation 21:4 Visitation will take place on 1/26/2023 from 10:00am to 11:30am at Matthews Mortuary. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on 1/26/2023 at 12:00pm at St. Malachy Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal and Burial will be at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy, Michigan on 1/30/2023 at 1:00pm.
