Hazel Imogene Davis

97, Avon, passed away on February 1, 2023. A long time resident of Hemet, California, Imogene relocated to Indianapolis to be near family. "Jean" was preceded in death by her husband William Thomas Davis, USN; parents John and Hazel Burrows; brother Rex Burrows; sister Betty Sawyer; son-in-law Mark McKelvey. Survivors include her children Janice (Gene) Crouch, Mary Lynne McKelvey, William Thomas (Lauri) Davis Jr.; grandchildren Charity (Eugene) Cahill, Kaitlyn Davis, Karis Breese, Abigail (Javier) Acosta, Nathan (Sarah) Crouch, Kelsey Davis, Joshua Crouch; great grandchildren Timothy Breese, Keegan Breese, Kylie Cahill, Sophia Crouch, Brianna Crouch, Peter Crouch; sisters-in-law Phyllis Cook, Sharyn Davis, many dear nieces and nephews. Imogene's greatest delight was to serve her Lord Jesus Christ through various ministries. After retirement she and her late husband spent time in Flagstaff, Arizona, at Mount Eldon Christian Campground, ministering to Navajo Indians. Ladies' Bible studies and "front porch" conversations were her delight, as well as child-care for MOPs meetings, to name a few. In lieu of flowers donations to BIEM (Baptist International Evangelistic Ministries in Danville, IN) would be her desire. www.baptistinternational.org
