Hazel Pierle
77, Brownsburg, passed away April 16, 2011, after an extended illness. She was born in Hindman, KY on Jan. 15, 1934. Hazel was the daughter of the late Elisha and Emaline Napier Patrick. Hazel was a loving mother and devoted wife. She cherished nothing more than her children. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edward L. Pierle; 7 children, Patrick (Patricia), Pam Doctor (Phil), Mike, Eddie (Kim), Tom (Kathy), Chris (Barb), Emily Hines (Kevin); 11 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; brother Lexie Patrick; sister Mae Dravis. She was preceded in death by 9 siblings. Hazel was a member of St. Malachy Church for 50 years. After raising her 7 children, Hazel worked for T.E. Scott, retiring in 1996 after 15 years of service. Hazel enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and Euchre Club. She was a tender-hearted lady who always greeted everyone with a warm smile. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be 10am Wed. April 20 at St. Malachy Church, with visitation from 4-8pm Tues. April 19 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. Burial will be at St. Malachy Cemetery.
