Henry W. Holt
Age 93, of Brownsburg, passed away on June 6, 2022. He was born on March 2, 1929 in Pulaski County, Ky. He served in the Army and was a paratrooper in the 11th Airborne Division. After the Army, he worked for General Motors, Allison Division, for 42 years. He was a devoted husband and father and a member of Hope Community Church in Brownsburg. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Bertha Holt, brother Harlan Holt, sisters Goldie (Holt) Duncan, and Dovie (Holt) Stogsdill, his beloved wife Barbara Holt, their infant daughter Deborah Holt, and stepson, Dennis Evans. He is survived by his son, Bill Holt, daughter Lisa Marie (Holt) Wright, step-granddaughter, Andrea Evans, step-great-grandson, Christopher Church, and numerous nieces and nephews he loved dearly. Services will be held at Matthews Mortuary, 690 E. 56th Street, Brownsburg, IN, 46112. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 2:00-4:00pm, the service will be on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 11:00am. Interment will be at Lizton K of P Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to charitable organizations in Henry's memory.
